About Me

Lisa Wills

I'm a campaigner, investigator and strategist working at the intersection of climate, public policy and corporate influence.

My work focuses on uncovering evidence that changes public debate and translates into political action. I'm particularly interested in how powerful industries shape our institutions, influence public trust and delay meaningful action on the issues that matter most.

Over the past decade, I've worked across government, politics and the not-for-profit sector, bringing together research, communications, advocacy and stakeholder engagement to help drive policy and systems change. Most recently, I've led investigations into fossil fuel industry influence in Australia, including From Cradle to Career, a national investigation into fossil fuel industry engagement with children and young people.

Outside work, I'm a mum. Becoming a parent has sharpened my sense of what's at stake and reinforced why I do this work. The decisions we make today will shape the world my child, and her generation, inherit. I can't think of anything more important.

I'm based in Naarm/Melbourne.
